Jaguar unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show 2012, the new Jaguar XFR-S, the most powerful sedan ever produced by the British brand. The XFR-S uses the same 5.0-liter supercharged V8 from the Jaguar XKR-S with an output of 550 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. The XFR-S accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and it reaches 300 km/h of top speed. The suspension is electronically controlled thanks to the Adaptive Dynamics and the structure has been stiffened. The XFR-S is available in five different colors: Polaris White, Ultimate Black, Stratus Grey, Italian Racing Red and French Racing Blue, combined with 20-inch forged wheels, also available bicolors. Numerous components of carbon fiber lighten the vehicle and increase the aerodynamic efficiency. The XFR-S will be produced in a limited edition of 100 copies.

La XFR-S monta lo stesso V8 sovralimentato da 5.0 litri della Jaguar XKR-S con una potenza di 550 cavalli e 680 Nm di coppia. Il motore è abbinato al cambio automatico ZF ad 8 rapporti e alla trazione posteriore. La XFR-S accelera da 0 a 100 km/h in 4.6 secondi e raggiunge i 300 km/h di velocità massima autolimitata. Le sospensioni sono controllate elettronicamente grazie al sistema Adaptative Dynamics e l'assetto è stato irrigidito. La XFR-S è disponibile in cinque diversi colori: Polaris White, Ultimate Black, Stratus Gray, Italian Racing Red e French Racing Blue, abbinati ai cerchi forgiati da 20 pollici, disponibili anche bicolore. Numerosi componenti in fibra di carbonio alleggeriscono la vettura e ne aumentano l'efficienza aerodinamica. La XFR-S sarà prodotta in edizione limitata di 100 esemplari.
