Porsche 993 GT2 Turbo 3.6 Widebody MC600 by Mcchip-DKR

The German tuner Mcchip-DKR decided to rebuild a 1997 Porsche 993 GT2 for one of its closest customers, creating the Porsche 993 GT2 Turbo 3.6 Widebody MC600. The GT2 MC600 receives a new engine block, new K26 turbocharges, a new electronic control unit, a limited slip differential and a new exhaust system. The 993 GT2 is equipped with a 3.6-liter twin-turbo engine with 450 hp; with the preparation the power increases to 604 hp and the maximum torque reaches up to 847 Nm. The structure has been stiffened by new KW racing suspension and the car rests on RS 18-inch alloy wheels. Outside the car is fitted with large wheelarch with rivets, new shields and an increased rear wing. Inside there is a new safety cage, Recaro racing seats, racing shift lever, quick release steering wheel, carbon fiber dashboard and racing instrumentation with rescue system operating data. Over 800 hours of work was done and the construction cost were € 200,000.

Il tuner tedesco Mcchip-DKR ha deciso di ricostruire una Porsche 993 GT2 del 1997 per uno dei suoi clienti più stretti, creando la Porsche 993 GT2 Turbo 3.6 Widebody MC600. La GT2 MC600 riceve un nuovo blocco motore, nuove turbine K26, una nuova centralina elettronica, un differenziale a slittamento limitato e un nuovo impianto di scarico. La 993 GT2 monta un motore 3,6 litri biturbo da 450 cv, con la preparazione diventano 604 cv e la coppia massima raggiunge gli 847 Nm. L'assetto è stato irrigidito tramite nuove sospensioni KW da competizione, l'auto appoggia su cerchi in lega RS da 18 pollici. All'esterno l'auto monta grandi passaruota con rivetti, nuovi scudi paraurti e un alettone posteriore maggiorato. All’interno è presente una nuova gabbia rollbar, sedili da corsa Recaro, leva del cambio da corsa, sterzo a sganciamento rapido, plancia in fibra di carbonio e strumentazione da competizione con sistema di salvataggio dati di funzionamento. Per la preparazione occorrono più di 800 ore di lavoro e 200.000 €.
