Lotus 97T F1 ex Senna - Amazing on board sound, engine warm up & track action @ Imola

Italiansupercarvideo, 19Bozzy92 and I filmed this 1985 Lotus 97T Renault at the Ayrton Day, organized for the 25th anniversary of Senna's death, by the same people behind Historic Minardi Day.
In the video you can see the Formula 1 racecar in action on the Imola circuit for some demo laps: flatout acceleration, downshift, fast fly bys on the straight and curves. You can see the on board laps and listen to the amazing sound of the V6 twin-turbo engine driven full throttle on the track, or during the start up and warm up.
Owner and driver: Fredy Kumschick.
The car feaures a Renault-Gordini EF1 1.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine which was able to produce approximately 800 hp (and probably even more in qualifying trim). Basically it's almost 34 years since the last time chassis 4 hit a dry track so for just 4 demo laps, engine was set to run under 2 bars of boost (no more than 600hp) and an early rev limiter at 10,400 rpms.

L'auto monta un motore Renault-Gordini EF1 V6 1.5 litri biturbo da 800 cv. Per questi pochi giri il motore è settato a 2 bar di pressione (non più di 600 cv e limitato a 10.400 rpm.

In the video you can see the Lancia Beta Montecarlo racecar in action on the circuit: flatout acceleration, downshift, fast fly bys on the straight, flames from exhaust, curves and details. You can listen to the sound of the engine driven full throttle on the track.
Engine: 1.4 litre 4-cylinder able to reach 400 bhp (in the last version it reached 473 bhp), thanks to a KKK-Turbo. Thanks to a weight  of 780 kg, the 0-100 km/h acceleration was performed in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 270 km/h (168 mph).

BMW M3 E36 GTR race car - On board & pure engine sound on Imola racetrack

In the video you can see the racecar in action on the circuit: flatout acceleration, downshift, fast fly bys and curves. On board laps on Imola Circuit and sound of the engine.
The engine is the BMW S50 3.0-liter straight-6, which is able to produce 405 hp at 8,800 rpm. Drenth 6-speed sequential gearbox, LSD diffferential, Penske racing shocks and AP Racing brakes. Total weight is around 1,100 kgs.

Orsi Anteo cingolato aratura - Tracked hot bulb tractor ploghing + start up & sound

Ho filmato questo Orsi Anteo cingolato in azione all'aratura di Mirabello, FE. Nel video l'aratura e l'accensione del motore testacalda.
Montando il motore dell'Argo su di un carrello a cingoli nacque l'Orsi Anteo, un trattore sul quale il parere dei tecnici era discordante.
Motore: 11.277 di cilindrata, 55-60 cv a 650 giri, per un peso di 5900 kg. Nasce nel 1953, monta motore e cambio del modello Argo, fu prodotto solo in 112 esemplari, non incontrando il favore del mercato. Si stima ne siano rimasti solo 10 in tutto il mondo.

L'OM 35/40 venne presentato a Fieragricola, nel 1952, era proposto sia in versione a ruote, sia a cingoli. Prima di essere superata, la serie Om 35-40 sfiorò i 10 mila esemplari venduti.
Il motore era un diesel di provenienza OM quattro cilindri 3.770 cc 40 cv. Il cambio ha sei marce avanti e due indietro

The car is a Berlina Corsa version. Not many were made in the sixties because the OT was 85 kg heavier compared to the 1000 TC. This car was driven a long time in the FHR long distance races in Germany and has seen the Nurburgring Nordschleife more than 100 laps and has a lot of wins in its class.
It has a 982 cc engine in racing specs: 94 hp @ 8000 rpm, 4-speed hillclimb gearbox; weight 670 kg.

The car was born from a McLaren Can-Am (M1C) chassis, given by  Bruce McLaren to the Count Volpi di Misurata for using a Serenissima engine on his Formula 1. Initially, the idea was to create a sport prototype to race 24 Hours of Le Mans, but the V8 engine was not enough powerful. A new engine started to take shape by the hand of Franco Lambertini: V8, 3-liter, trhee valves per cylinder, 380 hp @ 8600 rpm. Colotti 5-speed manual grearbox. In 1969 the new avional body was made by Drogo. In 1968 the car obtained the second place at Coppa Enna, driven by Jonathan Williams; in 1969 in Pergusa the car arrived second behind the Alfa 33 (driven by Nino Vaccarella). In 1970 the car racecs the last race: 1000 kilometers of Buenos Aires, driven by Jonathan Williams and Maurizio Montagnini. After that race, the port car was forgotten in a dungeon until Giuliano Giuliano (mechanic boss at Serenissima Automobili in 1967) decides to restore it.

L'auto nasce da un telaio McLaren Can-Am (M1C), regalato da Bruce McLaren al Conte Volpi di Misurata per avergli consentito di utilizzare un motore Serenissima sulla Formula 1. L'idea iniziale era di farla correre alla 24 Ore di Le Mans, ma il motore V8 di Massimino con due valvole non era abbastanza potente. Così inizia la progettazione di un nuovo motore a opera di Franco Lambertini: V8, tipo 167 tre litri, tre valvole per cilindro, 380 cv a 8600 rpm. Cambio Colotti a 5 rapporti. La nuova carrozzeria del 1969 in avional era realizzata da Drogo. Dopo il secondo posto di Jonathan Williams ottenuto nella gara di Coppa Enna del 1968, a Pergusa nel 1969 segna nuovamente una seconda posizione (dietro all'Alfa 33 di Nino Vaccarella). Nel 1970 l'auto correrà l'ultima gara alla 1000 chilometri di Buenos Aires guidata da Jonathan Williams e Maurizio Montagnini. Dopo tale corsa, l'auto viene dimenticata in un sotterraneo, fino a che il meccanico Giuliano Giuliani (capo meccanico Serenissima Automobili dal 1967) decide di cominciare il restauro per riportarla all'antico splendore.

This is a self-made prototype made by the same driver in his workshop in collaboration with the Giannetta workshop and which sees the use of the 2004 Suzuki 1.000cc K4 engine with the Arrow's power control unit, as well as the exhaust system, K&N air filter. At the wheel develops a power of 164Hp! Developed along the lines of the Elia Avrio prototype, it has been shortened and narrowed to 2.250 mm and 1.680 mm wide. The chassis is an F.OR.MA Racing GS00001, the gearbox is that of the Suzuki motorcycle, the chain drive D.I.D step 530, reverse gear with the starter motor of the VW Golf. For the suspension, it's all on Uniball DDG with zero clearance and this jewel has a weight of the only 470Kg!

Si tratta di un prototipo autocostruito realizzato dallo stesso pilota nella sua autoffcina in collaborazione con l'autofficina Giannetta e che vede l'utilizzo del motore Suzuki 1.000cc K4 del 2004 con centralina power commando della Arrow, così come l'impianto di scarico, filto aria K&N. Alla ruota sviluppa una potenza di 164cv! Sviluppata sulla falsariga del prototipo Elia Avrio è stata accorciata e ristretta con passo da 2.250 mm e larghezza di 1.680mm. Il telaio è un  F.OR.MA Racing GS00001,il cambio è quello della moto Suzuki, la trasmissione a catena D.I.D passo 530, retromarcia con motorino avviamento della VW Golf. Per le sospensioni è tutta su uniball DDG a gioco azzerato e questo gioliellino ha un peso di soli 470Kg!

450 HP Porsche 930 Turbo Time Attack racecar - Action, sound & +260 km/h on board @ Mugello

The car is a 1980 Porche 911 930, the engine 930/60 flat 6-cylinder 3.299cc 300 hp now develops about 450 hp thanks to a new Garret K26 turbo, three fuel pump, new Intercooler by Buratto Racing, camshaft and Bosch K-Jetronic injection. The engine goes with the Porsche 930/34 4-gears transmission. Chassis and suspension are devoleped by AL.MAR.Sport: roll-bar, uniball, Bilstein PSS10 suspension and bigger stabilizing bars.

1958 Maserati 420/M/58 Eldorado racecar - Pit stop, engine sound & action

ItaliansupercarVideo and I filmed this Maserati 420/M/58 in Modena Novi Sad park during the event Emilia Romagna MotorFest, a great 3-days dedicated to the passion for engine, an important thing for this Italian area.
In the video you can see Matteo Panini driving his Maserati 420/M/58 on the Novi Sad track for the show: pit stop done as it used to be in 1958, some laps with his race car in a rainy day and pure engine sound.
This one-off Maserati 420/M/58, chassis 4203, was built in 1958 to compete in Monza the Race of Two Worlds, 500 Mile race at the circuit based on the Indianapolis 500. This was the first single-seater car in Europe to be sponsored by a brand not linked to the world of motorsport: the Eldorado, an ice-cream manufacturer.
The V8 engine derived from 450S twin-shaft, 4.2-liter for 410 bhp at 8000 rpm can push the car over a top speed of 350 km/h; 2-speed manual gearbox and no limited slip differential. It has a tubular structure and aluminium bodywork for a total weight of 758 kg.
The 29th June 1958, at the Monza circuit, the race took place on three manches: in the first race Stirling Moss went 4th, in the second race he went 5th but he had an accident during the last race. Stirling Moss ranked seventh.



Io e ItaliansupercarVideo abbiamo filmato questa Maserati 420/M/58 al parco Novi Sad di Modena durante la Motor Valley Fest, una spettacolare tre giorni dedicata alla passione per i motori, ruota trainante della regione Emilia Romagna.
Nel video potete vedere Matteo Panini alla guida della sua Maserati 420/M/58 sul tracciato del Novi Sad per dare spettacolo: pit stop svolto come all'epoca, alcuni giri sull'auto da corsa sotto la pioggia e musica del motore.
Questa Maserati 420/M/58, telaio 4203, modello unico, è stata costruita nel 1958, per gareggiare a Monza alla 500 Miglia o "Trofeo dei due Mondi". Fu la prima monoposto in Europa ad essere sponsorizzata da un marchio non legato al mondo dell’automobilismo: quello dei gelati Eldorado.
Motore V8 derivato dalla 450S bi-albero, aveva una cilindrata ridotta a 4.190 cc capace di 410 CV a 8.000 giri; questo propulsore era montato disassato di nove centimetri a sinistra rispetto all'asse longitudinale, così come la trasmissione. Questa scelta era stata fatta per garantire una distribuzione dei pesi adeguata, tenendo conto del senso di marcia antiorario nelle curve sopraelevate di Monza. Il cambio aveva due soli rapporti mentre il ponte posteriore di tipo De Dion era privo del differenziale. Il telaio tubolare derivava da quello della pluri-vittoriosa 250F, sebbene risultasse sovradimensionato rispetto a quest'ultimo, anche a causa dei numerosi rinforzi introdotti per permettere al bolide di resistere alle sollecitazioni della pavimentazione in cemento del tracciato monzese. Per ridurre i pesi, furono adottate ruote a disco in magnesio Halibrand e pneumatici Firestone da 18 pollici con battistrada a treccia, gonfiati a gas elio. Con questi accorgimenti, la vettura arrivava a 758 kg. La carrozzeria in alluminio, battuta a mano da Fantuzzi, era caratterizzata da una pinna aerodinamica verticale dietro l'abitacolo oltre che da una presa d'aria frontale per i carburatori. Velocità massima oltre i 350 km/h.
Il 29 giugno 1958, nell’autodromo di Monza la gara si svolse su tre manches che avrebbero determinato la classifica finale. Questa decisione fu presa per invogliare i costruttori europei a presentare le proprie vetture, le quali originariamente non erano state progettate per disputare una competizione così lunga e impegnativa per la meccanica. Nella prima Stirling Moss arrivò 4°. Nella seconda fu 5°. Nell’ultima invece, si ruppe il comando dello sterzo e la sua Maserati terminò la corsa contro il guard-rail, vanificando le speranze del pilota inglese di concludere la manifestazione al terzo posto assoluto. In virtù dei tre risultati di manches e del numero totale di giri percorsi, Moss venne comunque classificato settimo. Uscì indenne dall’incidente e tutto sommato anche la “Eldorado” riportò pochi danni dimostrando un’ottima solidità strutturale.
Nell'anno successivo, la “Eldorado” venne modificata dalla carrozzeria Gentilini che tolse la pinna posteriore e ridusse la presa d’aria sul cofano, per essere iscritta alla 500 Miglia di Indianapolis nel 1959.

Apollo IE Intensa Emozione hypercar - V12 pure sound, loud revs & driving

Only 10 exhamples of Apollo IE will be built, for a price starting of 2.3 million Euro. Carbon fiber frame, weight 1250 kg; V12 engine 6.3-liter naturally aspirated, for 780 hp @ 8500 rpm and 760 Nm @ 6.000 rpm. 0-100 in 2.7 seconds and top speed 335 km/h.

Saranno costruiti solo 10 esemplari di Apollo IE, per un prezzo di partenza di 2.3 milioni di euro. Telaio in carbonio, peso di 1250 kg; motore V12 6.3 litri aspirato, con 780 cv a 8500 giri/min e 760 Nm a 6000 giri/min. Accelerazione 0-100 in 2.7 secondi e velocità massima 335 km/h.

Dallara P217 Jumbo LMP2 - Pure V8 sound & flatout action @ Imola racetrack

In the video you can see the Dallara LMP2 racecar in action on the circuit: flatout acceleration, downshift, fast fly bys on the straight and curves. Listen to the sound of the engine driven full throttle on the track and during the start up and warm up.
The car is moved by a Gibson 4.2-litre V8 engine which is able to produce 600 hp and 555 Nm of torque.

Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo IMSA - Flatout, track action & on board @ Imola

Italiansupercarvideo, 19Bozzy92 and I filmed this Alfa Romeo Turbo Evoluzione IMSA at the Historic Minardi Day 2019 at the Imola Racetrack, a great event dedicated to modern & past motorsport to celebrate the Minardi F1 team.
In the video you can see the Alfa Romeo 75 racecar in action on the circuit: flatout acceleration, downshift, fast fly bys on the straight, little sideways and curves. You can see the on board laps and listen to the sound of the engine driven full throttle on the track.

To take part in the 1988 Giro d’Italia, the Alfa Racing Department brought the Group A 75 into line with the International Motor Sport Association rules. This produced the most powerful 75: the Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo Evoluzione IMSA. The 4-cylinder engine, 1.762 cm3, develops about 400 hp, for a car weight of only 960 kg.

The Giro d’Italia automobilistico was an event that combined the appeal of the racetrack with that of rallying, because it featured races on the top Italian circuits (Monza, Misano, Varano and Vallelunga) interspersed with special and transfer stages on the roads used by the biggest national and international rallies. To meet these characteristics, teams consisted of a circuit racing champion and a rally crew of driver and navigator. The Alfa Racing Department entered three cars in the 1988edition, and they crossed the finishing line in the order Patrese/Biasion/Siviero, Larini/Cerrato/Cerri and Nannini/Loubet/Andrié. The following year Alfa again monopolised the race with an all-Italian top three: victory went to Francia/Cerrato/Cerri, ahead of Larini/Biasion/Siviero and D’Amore/Noberasco/Cianci, the third-placed team driving a Group A 75 Turbo Evoluzione, followed home by the third 75 IMSA of Guerrero/Loubet/Andrié.

Military vehicles details - Buffalo, Husky, M1151A, BV206 S7 CP, VTLM Lince

I filmed some Military Vehicles at the Verona Legend Cars exhibition.
You can see some details, interior and exterior.
1) BUFFALO: wheeled mine resistant ambush protected (MRAP) armored military vehicle built by Force Protection. Fuel capacity 85 gal, operational range 300 mi, top speed 65 mph, mass 45,320 lb, engine Mack ASET AI-400 I6 330 KW (450 HP)
2) HUSKY: medium-armoured high-mobility tactical support vehicle (TSV) manufactured by DCD Protected Mobility, to operate in close proximity to sub-surface explosive hazards. Operational range 804 km, top speed 49 km/h, mass 8,437 kg, engine 6-cylinder turbo-diesel Mercedes Benz OM 906 LA 6.4-liter.
3) Humvee M1151A1: it is part of the family of The High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), light, four-wheel drive, military trucks and utility vehicles produced by AM General. Operational range 402 km, top speed 88 km/h, engine 6.5-liter V8 turbo diesel.
4) BV206 S7 CP: is an all-terrain tracked vehicle developed by Land Systems Hagglunds - Sweden. Top speed 52 km/h, max slope on snow 30%, max ford depth 1 m.
5) VTLM LINCE: Light Multirole Vehicle produced by Iveco Defence Vehicle. Engine Iveco FIC 0489C turbo diesel 3.0-liter, 190 hp @ 3700 rpm, top speed 130 km/h, range over 500 km, ford depth 0.75 m (with kit 1.5 m).

The original 5.0 S62B50 V8 engine has been combined with a BorgWarner turbocharger and it's now able to produce around 800hp and 1000Nm of torque.

This car was the winner of the first 2019 Time Attack Italy round, driven by Serse Zeli, and modified by J-Spec Perf.

I filmed some old tractor Landini and Orsi hot bulb in action at the 42nd Tractor meeting of Cavezzo (MO).

4Matic+ vs quattro LAUNCH CONTROL - Mercedes AMG E63S vs Audi RS5 drag race

Italiansupercarvideo and I filmed a Mercedes E63S AMG 4Matic+ vs an Audi RS5 at the Modena racetrack during the trackday 6 Nation Challenge by DriveRacing. In the video you can see the the cars on the straight for a non-competitive drag race: see how the launch control works very well during the flatout acceleration. Test on 0-200 m, with other cars like Chevrolet Camaro or Catheram.


Io e Italiansupercarvideo abbiamo filmato una Mercedes E63S AMG 4Matic+ contro un Audi RS5 all'Autodromo di Modena durante la giornata 6 Nation Challenge by DriveRacing. Potete vedere le auto sul rettilineo per una gara d'accelerazione non competitiva sui 200 m: vedrete quanto lavora bene il launch control e il traction control. Test anche contro altre auto come Chevrolet Camaro, Catheram, Renautl Clio Turbo, Fiat Uno Turbo e Fiat Punto.

Colonna della Libertà 2019 - Historic tanks, trucks, amphibious, Jeep & motorcycles parade

Italiansupercarvideo and I filmed the "Column of Freedom" 2019 during the 25th April. In the video you can see more than 150 vehicles and about 400 people dressed in historical war-period clothings. We filmed the entrance in Fidenza city center. You can see a lot of tanks, trucks, amphibious vehicles, Jeep, motorcycles date back to the second world war pass by the steet of the city center.
The commemoration is organised by North Apennines Po Valley Park, in association with History Military Vehicles Italia and Gotica Toscana Onlus, to celebrate the anniversary of the Italian liberation of 25 April 1945 on the road of the war.

Io e Italiansupercarvideo abbiamo filmato la Colonna della Libertà 2019 durante la giornata del 25 aprile. Nel video potete vedere più di 150 veicoli e circa 400 persone vestite in abiti della seconda guerra mondiale. Abbiamo filmato l'entrata a Fidenza. Potete vedere carri armati, camion, mezzi anfibi, Jeep, moto risalenti alla guerra, che sfilano nel centro storico. La manifestazione storico-rievocativa si svolge nell’ambito delle celebrazioni per l’anniversario della Liberazione d’Italia del 25 Aprile 1945.  Una colonna di veicoli storici militari risalenti alla seconda guerra mondiale sfilano in un percorso sulle stesse strade che li videro protagonisti durante la Campagna d’Italia.
L’organizzazione viene condotta dai cinque musei facenti capo al North Apennines Po Valley Park, in collaborazione con History Military Vehicles e Gotica Toscana Onlus.
