BMW 328 Hommage

On the occasion of 75 anniversary of the BMW 328, the German manufacturer unveils the special model 328 Hommage to honor the fathers of the BMW 328. The original was built of aluminum and magnesium (the finest materials at the time) and weighed only 780 kg, the 328 Hommage is made of carbon fiber, stronger, more stable and lightweight. Where the material has been worked on this special vehicle, it is also visible: the CFRP becomes an aesthetic element as well as functional. Under the bonnet lurks a 3000 cc 6-cylinder engine. There are also noble leather, brushed or polished and burnished  aluminum (also coupled to the interior CFRP) and alloy wheels bipartite to express the character and essence of purist sports roadster.

In occasione del 75° compleanno della BMW 328, il costruttore tedesco svela il modello speciale 328 Hommage per rendere onore ai padri della BMW 328. L'originale era costruita in alluminio ed in magnesio (i materiali più raffinati dell’epoca) e pesava solo 780 Kg, la 328 Hommage è realizzata in fibra di carbonio, più resistente, più stabile e leggero. Laddove il materiale è stato lavorato su questa speciale vettura, è anche visibile: Il CFRP diventa quindi un elemento estetico oltre che funzionale. Sotto al cofano batte un motore 6 cilindri da 3000 cc. Ci sono anche pelli nobili, alluminio satinato o lucidato e imbrunito ( anche abbinati agli interni in CFRP) e i cerchi in lega bipartiti per esprimere il carattere purista ed essenziale della roadster sportiva.
