BMW 6 Gran Coupe

The debut of the 6 Series Gran Coupe occurred in March 2012. It shares the platform with the Series 6, Series 5 and Series 5 GT, but the wheelbase has been stretched to seat four people comfortably. It was also made extensive use of aluminum and plastic to reduce weight. At its debut the 6-series Gran Coupe will be available in three engine variants: the 640i 3.0 Supercharged with twin-scroll turbocharger and a maximum power of 320 hp; 650i with 4.4 V8 engine with twin-scroll twin turbochargers for a maximum power of 450 hp, 640d with 3.0 twin supercharging and maximum output of 313 hp. The entire range of Gran Coupe comes standard with the automatic 8-speed Steptronic, and using a specific command, you can choose the type of engine and suspension response between several programs: Sport, Sport +, Comfort + and Eco Pro.

Il debutto della Serie 6 Gran Coupè è avvenuto in marzo 2012. Condivide il pianale con la serie 6, la serie 5 e la serie 5 GT, ma il passo è stato allungato per far sedere comodamente quattro persone. Inoltre è stato fatto ampio uso di alluminio e fibre plastiche per contenere il peso. Al suo debutto la serie 6 Gran Coupè sarà disponibile in tre motorizzazioni: 640i con motore 3.0 sovralimentato mediante turbocompressore twin-scroll ed in grado di erogare una potenza massima di 320 CV; 650i con motore 4.4 V8 con doppia sovralimentazione ottenuta grazie all'ausilio di due turbocompressori twin-scroll e con potenza massima di 450 CV; 640d con motore 3.0 con doppia sovralimentazione e potenza massima di 313 CV. Tutta la gamma della Gran Coupé monta di serie l'automatico Steptronic ad 8 rapporti e mediante un apposito comando è possibile scegliere il tipo di risposta del motore e delle sospensioni tra diversi programmi: Sport, Sport +, Comfort + e Eco Pro.
