At the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon, Gazoo has presented a modified GT86, called GT86 GRMN Sports Concept FR Platinum. Gazoo has changed headlights, bumper and air intakes at the front and he mounted a bumper with a diffuser and a spoiler at the rear. Side skirts and 18-inch alloy wheels complete the look. The interior is equipped with a roll bar, lightweight seats, four-point seat belts and racing wheel. The engine is the 2.0-liter boxer of the standard version: thanks to the supercharger and turbocharger the power increases to 330 hp and torque to 430 Nm.

Gazoo ha modificato fari, paraurti e prese d'aria all'anteriore e montato un paraurti con diffusore e un alettone al posteriore. Completano il look le minigonne e i cerchi in lega da 18''. Gli interni sono dotati di roll bar, sedili alleggeriti, cinture di sicurezza a quattro punti e volante da corsa. Il motore è il 2.0 litri boxer che equipaggia la versione di serie: grazie al compressore volumetrico e al turbo la potenza sale a 330 cv e la coppia a 430 Nm.
