Homemade Toyota Celica racecar proto swap FERRARI V8 by Arena - On board & pure engine sound

I filmed this crazy project by Arena race proto: his new Toyota Celica racecar. He spent over 2000 hours to own built this awesome car, and this was the first test on the racetrack. In the video you can see the details and the car in action: engine start up, fast fly bys, curves, sideways, driving to the limit, acceleration and on board with multicam, with focus on heel toe and Ferrari manual gearbox.

Engine Ferrari V8 3.6-liter from 360 Modena, 400 hp at 9200 rpm. Total weigt of the car 1050 kg, tubolar chassis, body and interior made of carbon, push rod suspension...Listen to the sound of the engine at full throttle.

Ho filmato questo prototipo spettacolare autocostruito da Arena Prototipi da Corsa: la nuova Toyota Celica da gara. Dopo averci speso oltre 2000 ore di lavoro, questo era il primo test in pista. Motore Ferrari 360 Modena, V8 3.6 litri, 400 cv a 9200 rpm. Peso totale dell'auto 1050 kg, grazie a telaio in tubolare, carrozzeria e interni in carbonio. L'auto monta anche sospensioni push rod e doppio circuito frenante con ripartitore di frenata. Ascotate che sound a tutto gas!

2013 Lexus IS F Sport by TRD

Toyota Racing Development has prepared a sports package for the new Lexus IS F Sport. The Lexus IS F Sport by TRD has side skirts, new front and rear bumper with integrated diffuser, chrome exhaust and a spoiler. 19-inch 15-spoke alloy wheels complete the kit. The technical changes include new settings for the suspension, now with sports lowered shock absorbers, while the engine remains the standard.

Toyota GT86 Cup Edition

The Toyota GT86 Cup Edition is a limited edition for the European market of the GT86, based on the racing version GS-V3. In addition to the trophy livery, the Toyota GT86 Cup Edition wears 18-inch OZ Racing wheels with Pirelli PZero Nero tires, the interior is characterized by the Alcnatara steering wheel, red stitching and Cup Edition badge. The mechanics has not been modified, the engine remains the 2.0-liter boxer developed by Subaru with 200 hp and 205 Nm. The GT86 Cup Edition will be produced in only 86 examples.

Lotus Exige spotted (photos)

In the pictures you can see a Lotus Exige, model 2004-06. The Lotus Exige is a two-seater sport car, with a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter engine, 16-valve DOHC Toyota source, that delivers 190 hp at 7800 rpm and 187 Nm at 6800 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Compared to the previous series, the Elise 2 has a front splitter, fibreglass hardtop roof with roof scoop, rear engine cover, and rear spoiler. The Lotus Exige accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, 0 to 160 km/h in 12.9 seconds and it reaches 237 km/h.

Toyota GT86 GRMN Sports FR Concept Platinum by Gazoo

At the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon, Gazoo has presented a modified GT86, called GT86 GRMN Sports Concept FR Platinum. Gazoo has changed headlights, bumper and air intakes at the front and he mounted a bumper with a diffuser and a spoiler at the rear. Side skirts and 18-inch alloy wheels complete the look. The interior is equipped with a roll bar, lightweight seats, four-point seat belts and racing wheel. The engine is the 2.0-liter boxer of the standard version: thanks to the supercharger and turbocharger the power increases to 330 hp and torque to 430 Nm.

Toyota GT 86 Spiral by Abflug

Abflug will present in January at the Tokyo Motor Show the tuning kit for the Toyota GT 86. The engine of the standard version is the 2.0-liter boxer Subaru, which produces 200 hp and 250 Nm of torque. With the addition of a compressor and a new sports exhaust the GT 86 Spiral develops an output of 258 hp and a torque of 296 Nm. The structure has been modified by the addition of new stiffer suspension with shorter springs, while the braking system has been upgraded. In the first rendering published by the tuner you can see the features of the bodykit: new bumper with large air intakes, new 19-inch alloy wheels with five-spoke, new rear spoiler and a large air extractor.

Toyota GT 86

The new Toyota GT 86 is officially on sale. The design of the GT86 is the result of a long development, which has led to define the essential elements such as rear wheel drive with limited slip differential, balancing weights (53% rear) and the driving pleasure (thanks to the stability control with three setup ), despite having to deal with a price range accessible to the widest possible number of customers. The result is a 2+2 coupe with a 2.0-liter boxer D-4S direct injection 200 hp and 205 Nm of torque, for a total mass of between 1,240 and 1,280 kg depending on version. Faced with an average promised consumption of 7.8 l/100 km (which descend to 7.1 with automatic), GT 86 states 226 km/h top speed and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 s, values ​​that go down to 210 km/h and 8.2 s for the automatic.
