Lancia Thema 8.32 Ferrari (photos)

The Lancia Thema, unveiled in 1984, was the flagship symbol of Lancia in the eighties. In May 1986, was presented the 8.32 version. The engine is the same as the Ferrari 308 and Mondial Quattrovalvole: the 32-valve V8 2.927 liters that delivers 215 hp made ​​it the most powerful front-wheel-drive car in the world and was called Thema-Ferrari. The engine had to undergo a number of changes to allow insertion into the hood of the car. The maximum speed was 240 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h occurred in less than 7 seconds. The 8.32 had opulent interiors for the epoque, covered entirely with briar, Poltrona Frau leather and/or Alcantara. Between I and II series there were produced 3520 specimens (2370 in the first and 1150 in the  second). See the pictures below.

2014 Nissan GT-R

The 2014 Nissan GT-R will receive small body changes, especially in the interior, while the mechanical changes will be the juice of this update. The new GT-R will mount a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 with 550 horsepower and 632 Nm of torque, but with different power delivery. The new gearbox will lower the 0-100 km/h than a tenth, rising to 2.7 seconds. In addition, the GT-R will have a stiffened frame and a new calibration of the suspension with the possibility to adjust the camber.

Volkswagen Polo R

Volkswagen may present at the Geneva Motor Show 2013 the Volkswagen Polo R, the most powerful version ever made of a road Volkswagen Polo. The car will be built on the base of the Volkswagen WRC Concept Street. The engine will be a 2.0 turbo about 225 horsepower, which are expected to take from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 6 seconds, touching a maximum speed of over 240 km/h.

2013 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

This is the fastest and most powerful Cayenne ever built. The 4.8 twin-turbo V8 engine delivers 550 hp and 750 Nm of torque, which is 50 hp and 700 Nm more than the Cayenne Turbo. The Turbo S accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and the top speed is 283 km/h. It uses the same chassis as the Cayenne Turbo; it is fitted with the optional Sport Chrono Package, four wheel drive, air suspension (PASM), Active Damping Control and the Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and the pneumatic anti-roll bars. The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S will go on sale from January 2013.

Renault Clio RS

Renault unveiled the new Clio RS 2013 at the Paris Motor Show 2012. Under the bonnet of the Clio RS is placed a four-cylinder 1.6 turbo engine capable of delivering 200 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, with maximum torque of 240 Nm between 1,750 and 5,600 rpm. The transmission is a dual-clutch 6-speed. The RS Drive allows the driver to choose between three setup: Normal, Sport and Race. Two proposals chassis: Sport and Cup, the second lower than 5 mm and with 15% stiffer suspension. See other pictures below.

Peugeot 208 GTi

Peugeot unveiled at the Paris Salon the 208 GTi. The car weighs just 1,160 kg and is equipped with four-cylinder 1.6 THP turbo engine that delivers 200 hp and 275 Nm combined to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 208 GTi is capable of reaching a top speed of 230 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 7 seconds. Will be on sale in the spring of next year. See other pictures below.

Solberg's Rally WRC crash

The following two videos show the onboard camera and aerial shoots of Peter Solberg's crash in his Ford Fiesta WRC during the 2012 Rallye de France. The car jumps into a vineyard and after taking out a sizeable chunk of the vineyard, he ends up hitting a telegraph pole which almost wipes out the crowd. Luckily, no one was hurt. Videos below:

Corse Challenge 2012 (photos + video)

Here you are my pictures of the event called Corse Challenge 2012, at the Modena racetrack. In the first video you can see a modified Lancia Delta HF Integrale with a very noisy turbo. It does some full throttle acceleration and drive crazy on the track while racing! In the second you can see a prototype spitting flames! In the last video the Dallara Icsunonove details, start up and racing. Watch the videos below.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse SE

The one-off Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse SE was revealed at the Paris Motor Show 2012. The blue-white livery recalls the colors of the 1928 Bugatti Type 37A. The Vitesse is equipped with a 7.9-liter W16 engine with four turbines capable of delivering 1,200 hp and 1,500 Nm of torque, which combined with all-wheel drive and duble-clutch 7-speed gearbox allows the Bugatti to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 410 km/h. This unique Veyron, already sold for 1.9 million euro, has three different suspension settings depending on driving style, but still comfortable and luxurious car. See other pictures:

Formula Ford 1.0 EcoBoost

Ford could run from 20 to 40 units of Formula Ford. The car was born from a car regularly inscribed at the Formula Ford championship. It uses the 1.0 EcoBoost three-cylinder engine, delivering enhanced up to 205 hp, able to accelerates the Formula Ford from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds and push it to a top speed of 255 km/h. Thanks to this very interesting package the car established the 11th best lap time at the Nurburgring, with a partial of 7 minutes and 22 seconds.

The production version mounts perhaps a less extreme version of the 1.0 EcoBoost, credited with about 160 hp.
