1970 FIAT Abarth 1000 OT - Hillclimb action, on board & pure engine sound

Italiansupercarvideo, 19Bozzy92 and I filmed a 1970 Fiat Abarth 1000 OT at the 24° Vernasca Silver Flag 2019, Dynamic Restoration and Conservation Concours for historic racing cars. The event traces the street of the antique hillclimb Castell'Arquato - Lugagnano - Vernasca.

The car is a Berlina Corsa version. Not many were made in the sixties because the OT was 85 kg heavier compared to the 1000 TC. This car was driven a long time in the FHR long distance races in Germany and has seen the Nurburgring Nordschleife more than 100 laps and has a lot of wins in its class.
It has a 982 cc engine in racing specs: 94 hp @ 8000 rpm, 4-speed hillclimb gearbox; weight 670 kg.

L'auto è una versione Berlina Corsa. Non ne costruirono tante poichè la OT era più pesante di 85 kg della 1000 TC. Quest'auto è stata guidata a lungo in gare di durata FHR in Germania e ha totalizzato più di 100 giri al  Nurburgring Nordschleife vincendo diverse volte nella sua classe.
Il motore è un 982 cc con specifiche da corsa: 94 cv a 8000 giri, cambio da cronoscalata 4 marce, peso 670 kg.
