The Skoda has revealed the first images of the Octavia RS, which will be offered in both sedan and station wagon versions. The RS is recognizable by the front grille, bumpers, fog lights, the headlights, red brake calipers, chrome tailpipes and the black diffuser. Wheels are available in sizes 17, 18 or 19 inches. The interiors are recognizable for the three spoke steering wheel, sports seats and aluminum pedals. For the 2014 Octavia RS there will be two engines: a 2.0-liter TSI petrol with 220 hp and a 2.0 turbodiesel with 184 hp. The transmission is in both cases a six-speed manual, but you can have an optional dual-clutch DSG. The Octavia TSI sedan has a top speed of 248 km/h and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, while the diesel version reaches 232 km/h and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds. The RS is fitted with sports suspension, limited slip differential XDS and lowered suspension.

Per la Octavia RS 2014 sono previsti due motori: un 2.0 litri benzina TSI da 220 cv e un 2.0 turbodiesel da 184 cv. Il cambio è in entrambi i casi un manuale a sei marce, ma si può avere come optional il doppia frizione Dsg. La Octavia TSI berlina raggiunge una velocità massima di 248 km/h e accelera da 0 a 100 km/h in 6,8 secondi, mentre la versione a gasolio raggiunge i 232 km/h e accelera da 0 a 100 km/h in 8,1 secondi. La RS monta di serie sospensioni sportive, differenziale autobloccante XDS e assetto ribassato.
