Audi unveiled the new Audi RS5 Convertible. The Cabriolet has the same 4.2-liter FSI V8 naturally aspirated of the coupe, with 450 hp and 430 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds reaching a top speed electronically limited to 250 or 280 km/h. The engine is mated to the Quattro all-wheel drive and dual-clutch S-Tronic seven-speed gearbox. The suspension of the RS5 has been lowered by 20 mm compared to the normal Audi A5 and the brakes have been upgraded, on request you can also have the carboceramic brakes. It has 19-inch alloy wheels, and upon request you can also have 20-inch. The canvas roof is able to open in 15 seconds and close in 17. Standard on the car there are the Dynamic Ride Control, which regulates the structure depending on the situation, and the Audi Drive Select, which allows the driver to change some configuration parameters of the car to fit the best to his driving style.

Il motore è abbinato alla trazione integrale Quattro e al cambio doppia frizione S-Tronic a sette rapporti. L'assetto dell’Audi RS5 Cabriolet è stato ribassato di 20 millimetri rispetto alle normali Audi A5 e i freni sono stati potenziati, a richiesta si possono avere i carboceramici. Di serie monta cerchi in lega da 19 pollici, mentre a richiesta si possono avere anche da 20 pollici. Il tetto in tela è in grado di aprirsi in 15 secondi e chiudersi in 17. Di serie sulla vettura sono presenti il Dynamic Ride Control, che regola l’assetto a seconda della situazione, e l’Audi Drive Select, che consente al guidatore di modificare alcuni parametri di configurazione della vettura per adattarla al meglio al proprio stile di guida.
