Scuderia Ferrari is working on updates to the 458 GT3 ahead of the FIA GT3 Championship 2013. The car is based on the 458 Italia, and it was photographed during some tests on the Adria trackrace. The news should focus on the aerodynamic performance and the car body, also there will be updates to the sequential gearbox and suspension. We don't know anything about changes related to the engine, which is the 4.5-liter V8 capable of delivering 550 hp at 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm of torque, the same unit that equips the Ferrari 458 Italia with 562 hp.
La Scuderia Ferrari sta lavorando ad alcuni aggiornamenti alla 458 GT3 in vista del campionato FIA GT3 Championship 2013. La vettura deriva dalla 458 Italia, ed è stata fotografata durante alcune prove sul circuito di Adria. Le novità dovrebbero riguardare il rendimento aerodinamico e il corpo vettura, inoltre ci saranno aggiornamenti al cambio sequenziale e alle sospensioni. Non si sa niente riguardo ad eventuali modifiche relative al propulsore, che rimane il V8 di 4.5 litri in grado di erogare 550 cv a 9.000 giri al minuto e 540 Nm di coppia massima, la stessa unità che sulla Ferrari 458 Italia fornisce 562 cv.
