Volkswagen has unveiled the new Polo R WRC, the road version of the rally car. The Polo R is equipped with a 2.0-liter TSI direct injection turbo with 220 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The Polo R weighs only 1200 kg and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 243 km/h. Traction is front and the gearbox is manual. The body is only 3 doors in white and blue livery of the racing version. The body kit includes new bumpers, widened wheel arches, 18-inch alloy wheels, spoiler and rear diffuser. Inside, the car features aluminum pedals, steering wheel in Alcantara and WRC logos on Alcantara sport seats. The Polo R WRC will be produced in a limited edition of only 2500 examples.
Volkswagen ha svelato la nuova Polo R WRC, la versione stradale della vettura da rally. La Polo R monta un 2.0 litri TSI turbo a iniezione diretta con 220 cavalli e 350 Nm di coppia. La Polo R pesa solo 1200 kg e scatta da 0 a 100 km/h in 6.4 secondi, toccando una velocità massima di 243 km/h. La trazione è anteriore e il cambio è manuale. La carrozzeria è solo 3 porte nella livrea bianco e azzurra della versione da gara. Il kit estetico comprende nuovi paraurti, passaruota allargati, cerchi in lega da 18 pollici, spoiler ed estrattore posteriore. All’interno l’auto presenta pedali in alluminio, volante in Alcantara e loghi WRC sui sedili sportivi ina Alcantara. La Polo R WRC sarà prodotta in serie limitata di soli 2500 esemplari.
