2013 Audi R8 GTR by ABT

ABT Sportsline will present at the Geneva Motor Show the 2013 ABT R8 GTR. The car was born from the experience of ABT in the world of motorsport, but it will be suitable for both the track and the street. The engineers have focused on weight reduction (now it weighs 100 kg less than the standard R8) and its optimal distribution. The body kit is made entirely of carbon fiber, ranging from adjustable front splitter, the bonnet, the rear spoiler, the mirrors, passing through the doors. ABT lifted the power of the V10 from 525 to 620 hp. The top speed of the ABT R8 GTR is 325 km/h, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is in 3.2 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 9.9 seconds. The R8 GTR is equipped with ceramic braking system, adjustable sports suspension and ER-F forged wheels. The interior of the R8 GTR ABT is covered in black and red Alcantara, with racing stripes on the bucket seats. The package includes a rollbar, 4 point safety belts and a sport steering wheel made of Alcantara and carbon that features LED-shift indicator lights

ABT Sportsline presenterà al Salone di Ginevra la ABT R8 GTR 2013. L'auto è nata dall'esperienza di ABT nel mondo del motorsport, ma sarà adatta sia per la pista che per la strada. Gli ingegneri si sono concentrati sulla riduzione del peso (ora pesa 100 kg in meno della R8) e sulla distribuzione ottimale. Il body kit è interamente in fibra di carbonio: si va dallo splitter anteriore regolabile, al cofano, dagli specchietti all'alettone posteriore, passando per le portiere. Il V10 della R8 originale da 525 cv, è stato portato da ABT a 620 cv. La velocità massima della R8 ABT GTR è di 325 km/h, l'accelerazione 0-100 km/h avviene in 3,2 secondi e lo 0-200 km/h in 9,9 secondi. La R8 GTR è stata dotata di un impianto frenante carboceramico, sospensioni sportive regolabili e cerchi ER-F forgiati. L'interno della R8 ABT GTR è rivestito in Alcantara nera e rossa, con strisce da corsa sui sedili a guscio. La dotazione comprende un rollbar, cinture di sicurezza a 4 punti e un volante sportivo in Alcantara e carbonio con indicatori di cambiata a LED.
