2013 Bentley Flying Spur

The Bentley has released the first images of the Bentley Flying Spur, which will be presented at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The Bentley style, which combines luxury with sportiness, remains outside. The interior, available in four or five places, offers all the latest infotainment technologies, such as touch screen systems, Naim audio system 1100 Watt, and on request you can have internet and a hard-disk. The Flying Spur is the fastest and most powerful sedan ever built by Bentley, it is powered by a W12 6.0-liter 48-valve twin turbo with 625 hp at 6,000 rpm and 800 Nm at 2,000 rpm, mated to all-wheel drive with distribution 40/60 and the ZF Quickshift eight-speed gearbox. The Flying Spur accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, 0 to 160 km/h in 9.5 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 322 km/h. The new Flying Spur weighs 50 kg less than the previous, ie 2475 kg, thanks to the wide use of aluminum and processes from the aerospace industry. To improve the comfort, special 19-inch wheels (also available from 20 and 21 inches) were studied, while the electronically controlled pneumatic suspensions allow a softer response and lower the car at high speed.

L'abitacolo, disponibile a quattro o cinque posti, propone tutte le più recenti tecnologie di infotainment, come sistemi touch screen, impianto audio Naim da 1100 Watt, e a richiesta si potrà avere la connessione internet e un hard-disk. La Flying Spur rappresenta la più potente e veloce berlina mai costruita dalla Bentley, spinta dal W12 6.0 litri 48 valvole biturbo da 625 cv a 6.000 giri e 800 Nm già a 2.000 giri, abbinato alla trazione integrale con distribuzione 40/60 e al cambio ZF Quickshift a otto marce. La Flying Spur accelera da 0 a 100 km/h in 4,6 secondi, da 0 a 160 km/h in 9,5 secondi e raggiunge una velocità massima di 322 km/h. La nuova Flying Spur pesa 50 kg in meno della precedente, cioè 2.475 kg, grazie all'ampio uso di alluminio e lavorazioni di derivazione aerospaziale. Per migliorare il comfort, sono stati studiati appositi cerchi da 19 pollici (sono disponibili anche da 20 e 21 pollici), mentre le sospensioni pneumatiche a controllo elettronico consentono una risposta più morbida e permettono di abbassare la vettura alle alte velocità.
