The Mercedes-Benz will present at the Geneva Motor Show the new Mercedes A 45 AMG. The strength of the A 45 AMG is definitely the engine, a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo capable of delivering 360 hp at 6000 rpm and 450 Nm of torque between 2250 and 5000 rpm. With a specific power output of 181 hp/l, the A 45 AMG accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and it reaches an electrically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The engine, which reaches a maximum rotation speed of 6,700 rpm, is mated to 4matic all-wheel drive and seven-speed dual-clutch AMG Speedshift DCT gearbox, which offers three driving modes (Controlled Efficiency, Sport and Manual) and the function of launch control called Race Start. The Esp can be set on the levels On, Sport Handling and Off, suspensions are stiffer, stabilizer bar has been increased, also steering and brakes are suitable for sporty driving. The A 45 AMG is equipped with the sports exhaust system and on request you can also have the AMG Performance exhaust.

Il punto di forza della A 45 AMG è sicuramente il motore, un quattro cilindri 2.0 litri turbo in grado di erogare 360 cv a 6000 giri e 450 Nm di coppia tra 2250 e 5000 giri. Con una potenza specifica di 181 CV/l, la A 45 AMG accelera da 0 a 100 km/h in 4,6 secondi e raggiunge una velocità massima limitata elettricamente di 250 km/h. Il motore, che raggiunge un regime massimo di rotazione di 6.700 giri, è abbinato alla trazione integrale 4matic e al cambio sette marce a doppia frizione Speedshift DCT AMG, che offre tre modalità di guida (Controlled Efficiency, Sport e Manual) e la funzione di launch control chiamata Race Start. L'Esp si può impostare sui livelli On, Sport Handling e Off, le sospensioni sono più rigide, la barra stabilizzatrice è stata maggiorata, inoltre sono stati adeguati per la guida sportiva anche lo sterzo e l'impianto frenante. La A 45 AMG è dotata dello scarico sportivo e su richiesta si può avere lo scrico Performance AMG.
