Mercedes CLS 63 AMG CK63 RSR by Carlsson

Tuner Carlsson has revealed the CK63 RSR, which will be officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show. The Carlsson CK63 RSR is based on the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG, that features the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 with 518 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Ot course, Carlsson got his hands on the engine: the power increases to 700 hp at 5700 rpm, while torque is limited to 1000 Nm between 2000 and 4500 rpm. Carlsson has installed a stainless steel exhaust, new intercooler, new water and oil cooler and the seven-speed gearbox has been mated to a new oil cooler. The Carlsson CK63 RS accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 3.9 seconds, it reaches 200 km/h in 11.6 seconds on the way to reach a top speed of 340 km/h. The suspensions are adjustable in 10 positions, in normal conditions the car is 30 mm lower than the CLS 63 AMG and 25 mm spacers were added to improve stability. The exterior of the Carlsson CK63 RSR is graced by the Carlsson alloys wheels that come in sizes of 20 or 19 inches but most notable is the carbon- fiber front spoiler lip, black stainless steel mesh inserts in the intake grilles, brake cooling intakes, and rear carbon valance insert. At the rear is an electrically retractable rear spoiler, which extends automatically at 100km/h, with manual activation possible at any speed. The interior features handcrafted Carlsson details and is characterized by a combination of Brown Alcantara and Mocha Brown Carlsson Nappa leather.

La Carlsson CK63 RSR è basata sulla Mercedes CLS 63 AMG, quindi monta il 5.5 litri V8 biturbo da 518 cv e 700 Nm di coppia. L'esterno della Carlsson CK63 RSR è abbellito dai cerchi in lega Carlsson da 20 o 19 pollici, dallo splitter anteriore in fibra di carbonio, da inserti in acciaio inox satinato nero nella griglia di aspirazione e nelle prese di raffreddamento dei freni. Lo spoiler posteriore ripiegabile elettricamente, si apre per velocità superiori a 100km/h, o con attivazione manuale a qualsiasi velocità. L'interno, dotato di dettagli artigianali Carlsson, è caratterizzato da una combinazione di Brown Alcantara e pelle Nappa Mocha Brown Carlsson.
