McLaren will present the McLaren P1 at Geneva Motor Show, but the first official photos of the car are already available. The difinitive P1 is like the concept, but for the first time the interior has been revealed. Interior is designed to reduce the weight of the car. The carbon fiber is used for the dashboard, the center console, the floor and the doors, while the central cell has been realized in a single piece so as to ensure maximum safety and torsional rigidity. The seats are made in carbon, upholstered in Alcantara with contrasting stitching. To reduce weight, there aren't soundproofing panels and floor mats, but there are technological accessories such as navigator, air conditioning and the audio system. From the first rumors, it seem that the McLaren P1 will have an engine of about 900 hp and it will reach a top speed of over 400 km/h. Although the price of about $ 1.1 million, 500 orders have already been exceeded.
La McLaren presenterà la McLaren P1 al Salone di Ginevra, ma sono già uscite le foto ufficiali dell'auto. La P1 definitiva rimane identica alla concept, per la prima volta vengono svelati anche gli interni che sono studiati per contenere il peso della vettura. La fibra di carbonio è utilizzata per la plancia, la console centrale, il pavimento e le porte, mentre la cellula centrale è stata realizzata in un pezzo unico in modo da garantire la massima sicurezza e rigidità torsionale. Anche i sedili sono di carbonio, rivestiti in Alcantara con cuciture in contrasto. Per contenere il peso, mancano i pannelli di insonorizzazione e i tappetini, ma sono presenti gli accessori tecnologici come il navigatore, il climatizzatore e l'impianto audio. Dalle prime indiscrezioni pare che monterà un motore da circa 900 cv e raggiungerà una velocità massima superiore a 400 km/h. Nonostante il prezzo di circa 1.1 milioni di dollari, sono già stati superati i 500 ordini.
