At the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Opel will present the Adam R2, a prototype homologated for rally. The R2 is based on the Adam Cup, which is the model that will run in the monobrand championship, and it is powered by a four-cylinder naturally aspirated Ecotec 1.6-liter capable of 185 hp and 190 Nm. The engine is mated to front-wheel drive, Sadev 5-speed sequential gearbox and limited slip differential. The braking system is managed by Brembo, with 4-piston calipers at the front, rear braking control and hydraulic handbrake. The Adam is equipped with rollbar, Sparco seats with Hans restraint and fire extinguishers.
Al Salone di Ginevra 2013 sarà presentata la Opel Adam R2, un prototipo omologato per i rally. La R2 è basata sulla Adam Cup, cioè il modello che correrà nei campionati monomarca, ed è spinta da un motore quattro cilindri 1.6 Ecotec aspirato capace di 185 cv e 190 Nm. Il motore è abbinato alla trazione anteriore, al cambio sequenziale Sadev a 5 marce e differenziale autobloccante multidisco. L'impianto frenante è curato dalla Brembo, con pinze a 4 pistoncini all'anteriore, regolatore di frenata sul posteriore e freno a mano idraulico. Nell'abitacolo la Adam è stata dotata di rollbar integrale, sedili Sparco con sistema di ritenuta Hans ed estintori.
