The traditional Spanish house Aspid Cars has released the first images of an original supercar that will be produced within two years. The structure uses aluminum from the aerospace industry, ultra light steel and other composite materials able to keep the weight below 1,000 kg dry. The push rod suspension is double wishbones made of lightweight extruded aluminum tubes, while the brakes use a Twin Brake Disc system that should have the advantages of the carbon ceramics. The engine of this GT-21 Invictus is a V8 BMW-derived 4.4-liter turbo, capable of developing 450 bhp of maximum power and 440 Nm of torque. The power is transferred to the rear wheels through the double clutch gearbox 7-speed. Thanks to these characteristics the Spanish house estimated acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, for a maximum speed of 305 km/h. The GT-21 Aspid Invictus, whose price has not yet been defined, will be produced in 250 copies a year.
La casa artigianale spagnola Aspid Cars ha rilasciato le prime immagini di un’inedita supercar che sarà prodotta entro due anni. La struttura utilizza alluminio di derivazione aerospaziale, acciaio ultra leggero e ulteriori materiali compositi in grado di mantenere il peso al di sotto dei 1.000 kg a secco. Le sospensioni push rod sono composte da leggeri doppi bracci oscillanti in tubi estrusi d’alluminio, mentre i freni utilizzano un sistema Twin Brake Disc che dovrebbe avere i vantaggi dei carboceramici. Il motore di questa GT-21 Invictus è un V8 di derivazione BMW da 4,4 litri turbo, in grado di sviluppare 450 CV di potenza massima e 440 Nm di coppia massima. La potenza viene trasferita alle ruote posteriori attraverso il cambio doppia frizione a 7 rapporti. Grazie a queste caratteristiche la casa spagnola stima un'accelerazione da 0 a 100 km/h in meno di 3 secondi, per una velocità massima di ben 305 km/h. L’Aspid GT-21 Invictus, il cui prezzo non è stato ancora definito, sarà prodotta in 250 esemplari all’anno.
