Jaguar has confirmed the production of the supercar C-X75, which will implement by 2015 a limited edition of 200 copies. It mounts a hybrid engine composed of a 4-cylinder 1.6 liter double charged (volumetric and turbo) and two electric motors. The total power on the C-X75 will exceed the 500 hp, and the maximum speed of the unit up to almost 10,000 rpm. It will be combined with a 7-speed robotic gearbox and four-wheel drive, the chassis and body are made of carbon fiber. The C-X75 series is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and reach a top speed of at least 320 km/h. The autonomy of the C-X75 in zero emission mode will be about 60 km, with speeds limited to 65 km/h. The price should be between 700 and 900.000 pounds.

Monterà un motore ibrido composto da un quattro clindri 1.6 con doppia sovralimentazione (volumetrico e turbo) e due motori elettrici. La potenza complessiva supererà sulla C-X75 i 500 CV, e il regime massimo dell'unità sfiorerà i 10.000 giri. Il cambio è robotizzato a 7 marce, la trazione è integrale, il telaio e la carrozzeria verranno realizzati in fibra di carbonio. La C-X75 di serie dovrebbe accelerare da 0 a 100 km/h in meno di 3 secondi e raggiungere una velocità massima di almeno 320 km/h. L'autonomia della C-X75 in modalità emissioni zero sarà di circa 60 km, con velocità limitata a 65 km/h. Il prezzo dovrebbe essere compreso tra 900.000 euro e 1,15 milioni di euro.
