Pagani Huayra launch, powerslides, revs and more [video]

I filmed this matte grey Pagani Huayra during the event called Motori e Sapori in Castelfranco Emilia. In the video you can see the Pagani chief driver Davide Testi making some show with this Huayra prototype. You will see the start up of the engine, some hard revs and the race in a closed area: after a launch control some powerslides and acceleration. You will also hear the sound of the engine from on board and the noise of the turbo. At the end some details of the car and other revs!

In the pictures and in the video you can see a Pagani Huayra, filmed by me during the event Motori & Sapori 2013 in Castelfranco Emilia (MO). In the video you will see the arrival of the car in Castelfranco, internal and external details of the car, and you will also see it in action, first during a test of regularity, then on the road where it performs a full throttle acceleration and some revs.

The Pagani Huayra is powered by a V12 AMG biturbo 6.0-liter that delivers 730 hp and 1,100 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a Xtrac 7-speed sequential gearbox and rear-wheel drive. The Huayra accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 370 km/h. The frame consists of a monocoque in carbon-titanium alloy, the passenger cell has been reinforced with Kevlar, carbon and polyester: the Huayra weights only 1350 kg and it is the lightest supercar in its class. The aerodynamic is one of the most cared aspect of the Huayra, it features four mobile flaps: two on the front hood and two on the rear; an ECU adjusts the incidence of these profiles according to speed, acceleration and steering angle, to ensure minimum friction with the air and optimal downforce.
