McLaren 12C GT Sprint

The McLaren introduce the 12C GT Sprint at the Goodwood Festival of Speed​​. The GT Sprint, available only in the color Heritage McLaren Orange, will be built in 20 examples for only track use. The 12C GT Sprint uses the same carbon fiber monocoque of the road-legal 12C, but it uses PCC suspension and Brake Steer with specific calibrations. The engine 3.8-liter V8 twin turbo 625 hp has been optimized to provide better cooling. The GT Sprint retains the seven-speed double-clutch gearbox of the 12C, it also has three settings for the calibration of suspension, roll and ESP. The aerodynamics has been updated and the structure has been lower by 40 mm compared to the road-legal 12C. The 12C Sprint features carbon-ceramic brakes and Pirelli slick tires on 19-inch OZ rims.

McLaren MP4-12C by SR Auto

Canadian tuner SR Auto has revealed his latest project based on the McLaren MP4-12C. The car was fitted with 20-inch PUR 4OUR wheels, finished in matte black. The car features a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 with 616 hp.

McLaren 12C Coupe by Pfaff Tuning

Pfaff Tuning presented a McLaren MP4-12C coupe. It is this white pearl MP4-12C: the car is equipped with a new Fabspeed exhaust and MSO suspension. It is also fitted with a redesigned front bumper. The standard car features a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 616 hp, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 333 km/h.

McLaren MP4-12C Spider by Wheelsandmore

Wheelsandmore has released images of the tuning package for McLaren 12C Spyder. The performance package includes a mapping of the ECU and a new exhaust system, thanks to which the power reaches 700 hp, while torque is 650 Nm. Outside, McLaren has been equipped with Wheelsandmore 6Sporz² wheels measuring 20-inch front and 21-inch behind; the color chosen for the body is matte gray with the traditional Wheelsandmore stripe.

McLaren MP4-12C 50th Anniversary

McLaren has unveiled the special edition of MP4-12C and MP4-12C Spider to celebrate the 50th anniversary. The McLaren MP4-12C Anniversary Edition will be available in Carbon Black, Supernova Silver and McLaren Orange colors. The car is recognizable by its new front bumper with kevlar grille, combined with a carbon fiber splitter, as well as carbon fiber panels with the commemorative writing "McLaren 50". The braking system features carbon-ceramic discs, while the black alloy wheels, measuring 19-inch at the front and 20 inches at the rear, have been created specifically for this version. The interior is covered in handcrafted leather with carbon fiber trim. The McLaren MP4-12C Anniversary Edition will be produced in only 100 examples: 50 coupe and 50 Spider.

McLaren MP4-12C GT Spider by Gemballa

Gemballa has revealed new photos of the McLaren MP4-12C GT Spider, which was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. The intervention of Gemballa includes a new front bumper, side skirts and a new rear diffuser. You can also fit the car with GForced-one lightweight alloy wheels measuring 20-inch at the front and 21 inches at the rear. The kit is completed by a series of new interior finishes: new leather upholstery and new colors for the seats, door panels, dashboard, center console and instrumentation. The Gemballa 12C GT Spider weighs only 1434 kg, and it is powered by the 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 with 608 hp and 600 Nm of torque.

McLaren MP4-12C Chimera by FAB Design

The Swiss tuner FAB Design will present at the Geneva Motor Show 2013 its tuning for the McLaren MP4-12C, called Chimera, but the first official images and specifications have already been released. The body kit is produced in ultra-light carbon composites and it includes the redesigned front bumper, a front splitter, air intakes and overhauled rear end. The car has a new exhaust system which adds 15 hp to 600 already available.

2013 McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Spec

McLaren had made last year 25 examples of the MP4-12C approved for the FIA GT3 championships, named MP4-12C GT3 Specs. These examples have been sold to thirteen different teams, wich together have received 38 medals in 98 races in 2012. Thanks to the excellent results, McLaren has decided to make a second upgrade for the supercar: it will include a new aerodynamic kit, new suspension and new management of the electronic control unit. This update can be installed on twenty-five GT3 Spec already produced and it will be also built into the cars of new production: fifteen copies have already been ordered, but the numbers are likely to increase because the sale is open to individuals. Among the customers, there will be nine-time world rally champion Sebastian Loeb, which this year will compete in GT3 with the McLaren. The car costs 400,000 euro and can only be used on the track. 

McLaren MP4-12C Blue MemoR by Hamann

The German tuner Hamann has unveiled the latest processing dedicated to the McLaren MP4-12C. After the Hamann MemoR with black-red color, the tuner Hamann has unveiled the new Blue MemoR McLaren MP4-12C. The Blue MemoR comes in a blue paint with black finishes and it features a carbon fiber aero kit that comes from the car of the FIA GT championship. Outside, the McLaren has a new front bumper with LED lights, bonnet revised, air intake on the roof, side skirts, rear wing and rear bumper with air extractor. The alloy wheels are 21-inch with blue trim, blue are also the brake calipers. Inside, the blue color is taken up on the leather of the door panels, steering wheel and seat backs. The engine is standard: 3.8-liter V8 with 600 hp, mated to the 7-speed sequential transmission and rear-wheel drive. The McLaren MP4-12C accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds.

McLaren MP4-12C GT CAN-AM Edition

The McLaren MP4-12C GT CAN-AM Edition is a supercar for the track derived from the GT3 version of the MP4-12C. The engine is the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 630 hp. Thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber and the essentiality of the preparations, the total weight is 1,200 kg. An aero package inspired by Formula 1 helps to increase downforce by 30%, kit includes a front splitter, a rear diffuser and a flap made of carbon. In the cockpit there is a roll bar, racing seats with 6-point seat belts and a steering wheel derived from Formula 1. The braking system has been developed by Akebono, while the slick tires are supplied by Pirelli. The CAN-AM Edition will be produced by March 2013 only 30 examples. Price around € 760,000.

McLaren MP4-12C Volcano Orange one-off

This model, which will be presented in the Middle East, was designed to show the new range of customizations available for the MP4-12C. The one-off is recognizable by the special satin paint Volcano Orange and the use of carbon fiber for bonnet, rear deck, spoiler and roof. The bumper is new as well as the air vents built into the wheel arch. In the interior you can see new Alcantara lining with orange stitching and inserts made ​​of carbon fiber that recall the color Volcano Orange of the exterior. The steering wheel is made of carbon with chromed spokes.

McLaren MP4-12C Spider

The new McLaren MP4-12C Spider is the UK's answer to the Ferrari 458 Spider. The car is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 with 625 hp and 600 Nm of torque between 3,000 and 7,000 rpm, combined to a seven-speed dual-clutch. The English Spider accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and covers the 0-200 km/h in 9 seconds. The maximum speed is 329 km/h. The frame and the folding roof made ​​of carbon fiber allow to maintain proper stiffness and reduce weight. The starting price for the UK is £ 195,500.

McLaren MP4-12C by Hamann

Hamann has released some images relating to its interpretation of the McLaren MP4-12C. The German tuner aims a kit for the English super car, called memoR, with the purpose to further enhance the racer spirit and originality of the car. The special package includes: a brand new front bumper with integrated LED lights, the bonnet revisited, a showy airscoop on the roof, a new three-way exhaust, a extractor from the increased size and a big spoiler. The McLaren MP4-12C by Hamann sports a black coat embellished with decals and red details. These two shades are then taken on too flashy 21-inch alloy wheels. The aesthetic facelift is completed by the yellow brake calipers on which is written the name of the preparer.

The engine remains the standard: 3.8-liter supercharged V8 with an output of 600 hp and 600 Nm of torque, rear wheel drive and semi-automatic sequential gearbox with electronically controlled seven-speed. Consequently the performance are unchanged: 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h.
