Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster on D2Forged Wheels

D2Forged Wheels has fitted an orange Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster with a set of 20-inch XL2 wheels. The five-spoke wheels with matte black centers and orange lips perfectly match the color of the bodywork of the Aston Martin.

Ford Mustang GT US Air Force Thunderbirds

Ford has created a one-off Mustang GT to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the U.S. Air Force aerobatic team. The Ford Mustang GT U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds comes with forged 22-inch alloy wheels, coats of the aerobatic team on the body and the livery of the F-16 Falcon. The cabin is equipped with Recaro front seats and unique custom details. Under the hood, the Mustang has a new supercharger, it is also fitted with Brembo brakes and sportier suspension. The Ford Mustang GT U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will be sold in a charity auction on 1st August at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The proceeds will be donated to the EAA Young Eagles program.

Maybach 57 6.0 S Queen’s 60th Coronation Special by A.Kahn Design

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Queen of England’s coronation, A.Kahn Design has presented the Maybach 57 6.0 S Queen's 60th Coronation Special. The car differs from the standard Maybach 57 6.0 S for unique livery and 22-inch Kahn RS-XK wheels. 

One-off Porsche 959 Speedster for sale

The Porsche 959 was produced in 337 examples from 1986 to 1989. The car you see in the images was originally a 959 coupe; following an accident, the German owner decided to turn it into a convertible unique in the world. Under the hood, the car has a six-cylinder boxer twin-turbo 2.8-liter engine that produces 450 hp. The engine has covered only 8,100 km since it was registered in November 1987. Now this car is for sale on AutoScout24, the price is secret.

2013 SRT Viper on ADV.1 Wheels

The team of Wheels Boutique has fitted a set of ADV.1 Wheels to a new red SRT Viper. WB ADV6  wheels have been created specifically for this Viper, and measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.

Jaguar Palmer JP1 on the track (video)

In the video below, you can see a Jaguar Palmer JP1 in action at the Modena racetrack. The Palmer Jaguar JP1 is a sports-prototype produced by PalmerSport in collaboration with Jaguar in 2003. The car features a 3-liter V6 Cosworth engine with 300 hp. Thanks to the weight of 650 kg, obtained with the use of aluminum and fiber glass, the JP1 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 6.8 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 180 mph. Engine is mated to rear wheel drive and sequential gearbox. The car is homologated for road use, it was built in 2003 in only 5 examples.

Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster (photos)

I photographed this Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster for the event Modena Terra di Motori 2013. The peculiarity of the Zonda Cinque is that it was produced in only five examples. The Zonda Cinque comes from the Zonda F, but differs in the airscope on the roof and new air intakes for the rear brakes, the steering wheel is made ​​of carbon fiber, as well as the Toora sports seats upholstered with leather. The engine is the same as the others Pagani, the 7.3-liter AMG V12 that delivers 678 hp and 780 Nm. The acceleration 0-100 km/h is in 3.4 seconds, the 0-200 in 9.6 s, the Zonda is able to exceed 350 km/h. The engine is mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel.

Pagani Zonda Revolucion

Pagani Automobili unveiled the final version of the Pagani Zonda Revolucion. The central monocoque is carbon-titanium, the needle on the scale stops at 1070kg. The AMG Mercedes engine is an evolution of the Zonda R powerplant. The 6.0-liter V12 now develops an output of 800 hp and 730 Nm of torque, resulting in a power to weight ratio of 748 hp per tonne. The 6 speed magnesium transversal and sequential gearbox changes gears in 20ms. The traction control developed by Bosch with 12 different settings and the renewed ABS system, allows the driver to adapt the behavior of the car to his driving style. The aerodynamics feature important innovations, like new deflectors on the front bonnet, as well as a vertical stabilizer mounted on the rear bonnet. Pagani Zonda Revolucion also features a DRS (Drag-Reduction-System) on the rear wing, the system can be activated by the driver: it is controlled with the DRS button on the steering wheel and it acts on downforce settings. The Brembo braking system adopts new cutting edge F1-tecnology derived CCMR discs. Pagani Zonda Revolucion, like all creatures coming our to the Atelier in San Cesario sul Panaro, is tailor made. Pagani Zonda Revolucion is on sale at a price of 2.2 million Euros plus taxes.

Alfa Romeo 8C Spider spotted (photos)

I photographed this Alfa Romeo 8C Spider in Mirandola, during an exposure of the Imperiale bodyshop. Matte gray color is just gorgeous! Not to mention the car, which is a real piece of art! The 8C Spider was produced in a limited series of 500 units from 2009; as Alfa Romeo tradition, the roof is made of fabric. The 8C Spider is equipped with the Maserati V8 engine 4.7-liter 450 hp of the 8C Competizione, combined with rear-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic gearbox, which allows an acceleration 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed over 290 km/h.

Mercedes-Benz CLS by Carlex Design

Polish interior specialists Carlex Design have completed the project based on a alpine white Mercedes CLS. The interior is upholstered in nappa leather in porcelain color and black Alcantara, seats in perforated leather and Alcantara have imprinted a unique pattern. The dashboard and the strip on the doors are covered in white porcelain.

Ferrari 458 Italia by Vorsteiner and HRE Wheels

Wheels Boutique has recently completed his work on a yellow Ferrari 458 Italia. The development includes HRE wheels and Vorsteiner carbon fiber components. The car wears Vorsteiner's carbon fiber aerodynamic kit which includes a rear diffuser, front splitter and rear spoiler. The car fits on 20 and 21-inch HRE S104 wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires measuring 245/35/20 front and 355/25/21 rear.

Renault Twizy Renault Sport F1

Renault has unveiled the Twizy Renault Sport F1. It is a Twizy equipped with the Kers, the energy recovery system. The traditional electric motor with 17 hp coupled to the Kers reaches 97 hp for 14 seconds. The Twizy Sport F1 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds, the same time of a Megane RS, while top speed is 110 km/h. The Kers was positioned in place of the rear seat, the driver adjusts the functioning through the F1 steering wheel with appropriate commands. Activating the Recovery mode, the Kers acts as a generator: it takes power from the main motor to recharge the batteries when the Twizy is moving. In Boost phase, the Kers contributes to the acceleration releasing the stored energy. Outside, the Twizy Renault Sport F1 is fitted with slick tires, rear view mirrors from F1 cars, side fairings, front spoiler, rear spoiler, rear wing and diffuser. The car will make its appearance at the Motor Show of Barcelona.

Unique Shelby Mustang GT500E Convertible on sale

A 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500E Convertible 1968 will be auctioned on April 27 by RM Auctions. Carol Shelby himself has approved the construction of this car in 2005, born to be built in six examples to be the first Shelby Mustang convertible since 1970. The car features a V8 6.7-liter aluminum engine mated to a TKO 600 five-speed gearbox. The engine throws 525 hp to the 17-inch rear wheels. This examples was the only one built, the starting price of the auction is $200,000.

BMW M6 Gran Coupe safety car

Following the success of the BMW M5 as MotoGP's official safety car in 2012, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe was chosen as the safety car of this year. The M6 Gran Coupe safety car was specially modified for its use as a pace car on the race track: in addition to the livery, flashing lights and radio equipment were added. The engine has not been changed, but the Vmax speed limiter was removed. The car features a 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo 560 hp, mated to the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and rear wheel drive with limited-slip differential.

Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase Art Deco

The Rolls-Royce has unveiled a new special edition of its Ghost: the Ghost Extended Wheelbase Art Deco Edition. The Ghost Extended Wheelbase Art Deco Edition will be built in 35 examples, recognizable by the longer wheelbase, the blue color of the body, an internal contrasting color and the illuminated Ecstasy. The engines will remain standard.

Porsche 356 1500 Continental Coupe (photos)

In the pictures you can see a gorgeus Porsche 356 1500 Continental Coupe, spotted in Castelfranco Emilia near Modena, during exposure of the cars of the Trofeo Secchia Rapita. The Porsche 356, available in both coupe and roadster versions, was produced from 1948 to 1966. It can be considered the first production model of the Stuttgart House. The engine, originally a 1.1-liter, then brought in different versions to 1.2 - 1.3 - 1.6 and 2.0 liters, it had a range of outputs from 40 hp to over 110 of the Carrera versions and it was derived from the Volkswagen engine that powered the Volkswagen Beetle. Even the architecture of the car came from the Beetle, designed by Ferdinand Porsche: rear overhang air-cooled engine and rear-wheel drive. The model in the picture has a 1,488 CC OHV 4-cylinder boxer engine with 55 hp at 4400 rpm, mated to a four-speed manual transmission.

Panini Museum - Museo Panini (photos + video)

The Umberto Panini Historic Cars Collections is one of the best collections dedicated to Maserati. In a museum located near Modena houses the cars that recall the most important milestones in the history of the Trident, the museum currently has 23 cars on display in rotation. Among the exhibited models, there are the Maserati Tipo 6 CM, built from 1936 to 1939 in 27 examples, the Maserati Tipo A6GCS Berlinetta Pininfarina, the Maserati 3500 GT Carrozzeria Touring, the Maserati Ghibli Ghia designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Maserati Birdcage Tipo 61, the one-off Maserati Simun, the Maserati Bora, the unique Maserati Merak Turbo, the Maserati Khamsin, and a Maserati Chubasco, a prototype built in the early nineties and never went into production. In addition, there were also some examples of Stanguellini, Alfa Romeo and Mercedes-Benz as well as bicycles, motorbikes and tractors.

Lamborghini Aventador Limo

Cars For Stars, limousine rental agency, has created a render of a possible limo based on a Lamborghini Aventador. The only difficulty to achieve a similar supercar would be the cost. The engine is the same V12 700 hp, the interior is changed: it fitted with more seats, plasma screens, iPod stations and Champagne.

500 Abarth Monza by Romeo Ferraris (photos)

In the pictures you can see a 500 Abarth Monza that I spotted at the Raduno dei Raduni organized by Quattroruote. The 500 Abarth Monza is a preparation by Romeo Ferraris derived from 500 Abarth. The Monza is produced in only 10 examples, to commemorate 50 years of Romeo Ferraris. The 1.4-liter turbo engine now delivers 260 hp, compared to the original 135 hp, thanks to a new turbo, sports exhaust, air filter and ECU. The power is discharged to the ground by a new sequential 6-speed gearbox mated to a mechanical limited slip differential. The 500 Abarth Monza features Brembo brakes upgraded and adjustable racing suspension. Aesthetically, it is equipped with a new aerodynamic kit and 17-inch alloy wheels. The white paint with red and blue stripes takes the color of Monza racetrack. Even the interior are in the same color combinations, quality is guaranteed by leather and Alcantara. All copies are numbered and they report on a plate the owner's name.

Lamborghini Veneno

The Lamborghini Veneno is designed to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the House of Sant'Agata Bolognese and it will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2013. It will be built in only three examples at a price of 3.6 million euro. The engine of Veneno comes from the Aventador, but thanks to some changes, now the V12 6.5-liter delivers 740 hp. The Lamborghini Veneno accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 354 km/h. Even the carbon shell comes from the Aventador, but now it is more rigid.
