Subaru BRZ: revs, on board drifting and track action (video)

I filmed this Subaru BRZ at the TopGear Cup at Autodromo di Modena. In the video you can see some details of the car, the exterior and the interior, then the sound of the engine with some revs (stock exhaust). In the video there are some laps on the track from an external view and three on board laps (two fast laps and a drift lap): you can listen to the sound during the launch, the accelerations and the downshifts, but also the noise of the smoking tires while drifting. The traction control is always off. 

The Subaru BRZ was jointly developed with Toyota GT86, from which it differs in some aesthetic details and suspension tuning. The engine (the same of the GT86) is a 2.0-liter gasoline 4-cylinder naturally aspirated boxer (produced by Subaru) that delivers 200 hp at 7000 rpm and a maximum torque of 205 Nm at 6600 rpm. The trasmission is rear-wheels drive with limited slip differential and it is entrusted to a manual 6-speed transmission (optional automatic transmission with shift paddles on the steering wheel). The BRZ accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 228 km/h.

Top Gear Cup @ Autodromo di Modena (video)

Here you can find my photos of the ultimate stage of the 2013 TGcup at the Autodromo di Modena. The cars participants at the meeting were about forty, some of which are certainly worthy of note! Among them, I can mention the Peugeot 2008 that competed in the Mongol Rally with TopGear Italia, in addition the Nissan Juke Nismo, the Subaru BRZ and the Mercedes A45 AMG. In the paddock of the circuit, a space was set up to feel the emotions of the Caterham alongside a professional driver. I also posted a video with some driving scenes on the track, just a taste, other movies will arrive in the coming days!

Shelby AC Cobra at TGcup

I photographed this rare Shelby Cobra 427 at the Modena racetrack during the Top Gear Cup. Unfortunately, the car didn't hit the track, but stayed in the paddock all the time. The Shelby Cobra was born to combine the agility of English chassis to the power of American engines. The engine is a 7.0-liter V8 Ford that produces 500 hp. The car weights only 1311 kg! Mercedes A45 AMG (video)

I filmed this Mercedes A45 AMG during the Top Gear Cup at the Modena racetrack. In the video you can see the details of the car, exterior and interior. Then the start up of the engine and some revs. The sound is lovely. At the end there are three scenes of the A45 AMG on the track. The A45 AMG features a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo capable of delivering 360 hp at 6000 rpm and 450 Nm of torque between 2250 and 5000 rpm. With a specific power output of 181 hp/l, the A 45 AMG accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and it reaches an electrically limited top speed of 250 km/h. The engine is mated to 4matic all-wheel drive and seven-speed dual-clutch AMG Speedshift DCT gearbox. Watch the video and see all my pictures below!

Ferrari F40 photoshoot

Here I post all the pictures I took to a Ferrari F40 at the Modena racetrack during the Top Gear Cup. I hope you enjoy this car like myself. This examples is fitted with Tubi Style exhaust, so you must listen to the sound in the video that I attach below. The F40 is born to celebrate the fourty years of the Ferrari, it is known as one of the best Ferraris ever made, and it was the first road legal car made of composite materials: at the time of its presentation, it was the the fastest road car ever built. The engine is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 478 hp at 7000 rpm and 577 Nm at 4000 rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.10 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 326 km/h. Unique Mini Cooper with motorbyke suspension (video)

In the video you can see a modified Mini Cooper at the Modena racetrack. After the start up of the engine, you can see it in action on the track. This car features special suspension that make the motorbyke effect, you can see it in the curves: the car bends inward rather than the outside like all the cars with normal suspension. Ferrari 599 GTO spotted

Today I spotted this beauty and here I post the picures. It is a Ferrari 599 GTO in an awesome livery: red color, gold wheels and white stripes on the bonnet and the roof. Other pictures below.

Giallo Modena Ferrari F430 Scuderia

Here you are some photos of a Giallo Modena Ferrari F430 Scuderia, the most extreme version of the F430 and the successor of the 360 Challenge Stradale. This car was developed in collaboration with Micheal Schumacher. The weight was reduced of 100 kg compared to the F430 and the power of the 4.3-liter V8 was raised to 510 hp at 8500 rpm. The car was also fitted with a new automatic gearbox and a new traction control. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is in 3.6 seconds, top speed is 320 km/h.

Ferrari 458 Spider

Here I post some pictures I took to a new Ferrari 458 Spider in Maranello. In the pictures you can see some details of the car, painted in Rosso Scuderia and fitted with 20-inch Sport wheels. This car features a 4.5-liter V8 engine with 570 hp at 9000 rpm and 540 Nm at 6000 rpm, that allows it accelerations 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h.

Verde Ithaca Lamborghini LP570-4 Superleggera

An other car you can see in Maranello is this Verde Ithaca Lamborghini LP570-4 Superleggera. I photographed some details of the car, available as the other for renting. The Superleggera features a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 570 hp and 540 Nm at 6.500 rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and it reaches a top speed of 325 km/h.
